Private Lessons

Let me teach your child to love music through piano appreciation and mastery. It is well known that students with a musical background fair better in school than those without. Students learn to memorize and to perform pieces with technical accuracy and musical expression. The only thing they have to do is show up (and practice at home)!

Studio Policies
After enrolling in Mclean Piano Journey Studio, one month’s tuition deposit is required in addition to the first month’s tuition. With 30 days notice of quitting, the deposit will serve as the last month’s tuition payment. Tuition is due on or before the first lesson of each month. A late fee of $10 will be charged to the music account if the payment arrives after the first lesson.

Summer Classes
Get your kids out of the house and keep their minds stimulated during summer vacation. We provide a total of four weeks worth of classes for the summer and even give priority to summer students when registering for fall classes. If your child is already enrolled in school year piano classes, don’t risk them losing their hard-earned skills with no lessons during the summer.

Summer I—Classes Begin June 1 through June 15
Summer II—Classes Begin July 18 through July 28
Fall Classes resume August
Master Classes- the first Friday of each month, beginning September

Instruction from a Professional Musician
Maria Mclean is a degreed and certified teacher with more than 20 years of experience. Maria was fortunate enough to have studied with the acclaimed concert pianist, Louis Galanffy, to whom she credits her great love of the piano.
